"WE, THE CHILDREN"

" "
GIVE ME MY CHILDHOOD BACK

India has the highest number of laborers in the world under 14 years of age. There is a constitutional provision of compulsory free education and shelter to the children between the age of 6-14yrs.Still the problem exists in our country. In this case, who are to be blamed? The industrial organizations, who hire the children in the greed of making more profit? The working sectors? The government itself? The rich merchants and their thick bank balance? the public? or the children themselves? THERE ARE LOT OF SECTORS INVOLVED IN CHILD LABOUR
1.BEEDI MANUFACTURING
2.DIAMOND MANUFACTURING
3.CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES
4.DOMESTIC HELPS
5.STREET WORKERS &MANY MORE

Child labor continues to be abusive and exploitative of children, and millions are caught in its trap - by some estimates over one hundred million. Children are kidnapped, tricked and trafficked into all sorts of work, including the sex trade.

On the other hand, to simply outlaw and eradicate all children’s work across the board seems both unrealistic and not necessarily beneficial to every child in every circumstance. Some older children work in safe, decent jobs because the other option - not working at all - means an even worse fate, starvation. In a perfect world, no child would have to work. But there are gray areas in this issue.

Now the question is 'Can we rehabilitate this problem by getting involved practically on it or simply stay and say "the goverment or some other will do"? can we save our children from further exploitation or simply say "let it be"?????
